ADSL'de tüketiciyi yanıltma iddiası

Tüketici Hakları Merkezi (TÜ-MER) Genel Başkanı Ömer Keser, Telekom'un uygulamaya koyduğu ''indirimli ADSL'' kampanyası ile tüketicinin yanıltıldığını iddia ederek, ''İki yıllık sözleşme imzalayan abone, ileride fiyatlar birkaç katı artsa bile abonelikten çıkamayacak'' dedi.

Keser, ''Türk Telekom'un söz konusu kampanya ile Anayasanın eşitlik ilkesine aykırı davrandığını, yeni aboneler ADSL hizmetinden yüzde 50 indirimli yararlanırken, eski abonelerin adeta cezalandırıldığını'' savundu.

Duyarlı tüketicilerin abonelik sözleşmesini çok iyi okuması, ileride doğabilecek hukuki sorunlara karşı önlem alması gerektiğini vurgulayan Keser, ''Çünkü, kampanya adıyla tüketici yanıltılıyor. İki yıllık sözleşme imzalayan abone, ileride fiyatlar birkaç katı artsa bile abonelikten çıkamayacak'' dedi.

Keser, ''indirimi desteklediklerini, ancak, ayrımcılığa kaşı olduklarını, Türk Telekom'un özelleştirilmesinin ardından tüketici aleyhine birçok gelişme yaşandığını, bu yüzden son aylarda gelen tüketici şikayetlerinin yüzde 40'ını Telekom'un oluşturduğunu'' kaydetti.

Telekom'un son kampanyasının 24 ay süreyle abone olanların yıl sonuna kadar indirimli ücretlerden yararlanmasını öngördüğünü ifade eden Keser, şunları söyledi:

Eski abonelerin de indirimden faydalanmalarını önlemek amacıyla bu kampanya 1 Haziran 2007'den sonra aboneliğini iptal ettirenleri kapsamıyor. Artık, haklarımızı aramayı bilmek zorundayız. Telekom, abonelere, 2008'den itibaren fahiş artış yapmayacağının garantisini de vermelidir. Aksi takdirde ucuz ADSL hizmetinin yanı sıra modem de hediye edilen tüketici, bunun birkaç katı zarar görebilir.''
